Ma. Cristina C. Javaluyas

Ma. Cristina C. Javaluyas is in charge of the administration and client-relations requirements of Asian Insights. Her main responsibilities include the development and implementation of high professional standards for non-legal staff and in administrative procedures.  She acts as the executive assistant to Mr. Andres B. Sta. Maria, preparing and updating forms, overseeing billing and collection, purchasing, settlement of expenses, and attending to the non-professional requirements of clients.

Ms. Javaluyas was with SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan, the oldest and largest law firm in the Philippines, for over 30 years. For over 25 years until her retirement, she was the administrative head of the Special Projects Group, the largest department of the firm.  As such, she oversaw the preparation and administration of income and expense budgets, billing and receivables, and administrative policies and procedures.  She was in charge of the logistics and administrative requirements of the firm's principal events, such as seminars, lectures, and social events for clients and personnel.  She was also the firm’s Administrative Supervisor, responsible for the maintenance of the firm’s building and premises.
